Being a lifestyle blogger, my lifestyle blog that promotes style with substance and self-improvement, attracts many PR emails. Since hits are still in growing phase (I don't know what people are looking for! *eye-roll*) it attracts emails that look less like a legit PR (Public Relation) email and more like I-don't-know-what-I-am-doing .
Let's see this one that came in today-
This email fails in professionalism and email etiquette at all levels. This also shows the kind of brand they are working for that would go and hire such a PR company.
UNPROFESSIONAL PR EMAIL SAMPLE

I Need a Guest Post on your site so let me know your Price. so reply me fast for a paid guest post.
Thanks & Regards
HERE ARE A FEW SUGGESTIONS FOR BRANDS
- Always ask your PR team to "bcc" you in every email pitch they are sending to bloggers/influencers.
- High reach or low reach sites, pitch with professionalism.
- Proper greeting, respect for the blog and good attitude towards accepting the refusal from bloggers should be taught to PRs.
- Never underestimate the power of "written communication".
Please don't forget to share your experience and pain in the @$$ emails by any person and you handled it.
Till later!
