Error While Connecting Samsung Cellphones To Ubuntu Laptop/Desktop

This error might be very frustrating if you are trying to quickly transfer media from your Samsung phone to your PC. You might be looking for the best answer that could help you. I was doing the same thing a while back  with Samsung Note and DELL Inspiron 15 until I found this information www.tuxtrix.com-

Here's how to do it. 

1. On Galaxy S II , go to

Menu -> Settings -> Wireless and network -> USB utilities 

2. Click on Connect Storage to PC

3. Connect the USB cable to your pc.

4. Click on Connect USB storage

5. Use your file manager to install/copy/paste.

6. Once finished, click on Disconnect storage from PC to disconnect and unmount drive from Ubuntu.

And it totally worked but with little different steps on Samsung Note-

1. On Samsung Note, go to Menu -> Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> More Settings ->USB Utilities 

2. Click on Button - Connect Storage to PC

2. A message will pop-up saying - Connect USB Cable to use mass storage. This is the time when you have to connect your cable to PC/laptop.

4. See your laptop for happiness.
